Thursday, Jan. 25. I took Christina to work, I came back to Doghouse, I prepared to go to Bankers Life, I went, got there early, sat in the car, found the office, waited in the reception area till noon or so. Mostly women in their 20s or 30s, then a black guy maybe 30s... we went in, sat down. I got the seat at the end of the big conference table facing the screen. Talk given by Jorge. I gave him my card and resume at the end, and signed the sheet saying I was interested in selling their insurance products (aimed at those over 65).

I do believe in insurance. I have
1. Health insurance
2. Dental insurance
3. Home insurance
4. Home-stuff insurance (in case the water heater explodes or plumbing work needed)
5. Long-term care insurance.
6. Disability insurance
7. Car insurance.
8. Life insurance.

Drove home hoping to pick up Christina because Thursday is a half day for her, but I missed her.

I stopped at Waterloo Records and sold some of my CDs. Some were worth $2, some $3. The guy said that Cheapo Records would buy ANYTHING, but they would pay almost NOTHING. So I could bring discs to Waterloo, sell what I could, and then take the rejects to Cheapo.

Maybe easier than posting on Craig's list. I've had a problem posting ads on Craig's list.

Then Rich called. He's getting financing from Bill Basore and BB's old boss, David Cunniham, for his (Rich's) Webzine... to be called something like "Automotive Traveler." Rich wanted me to look over some stuff and provide suggestions for improvement. Cool.

I sent him some ideas that I had implemented on VehicleAudioVideo.com.

Rich had planned to do his mag on paper, but, as I expected, costs of paper, printing, and postage were too high, not to mention the cost of printing 10 mags for every 3 sold (Rich's figures).
